As a yoga enthusiast and eco-travel writer, my recent stay at Hotel 1697 Loreto was a delightful blend of comfort and authenticity. the unique experience of visiting the oldest city in the Peninsula was truly captivating. The central location of the hotel, right on the main plaza square, allowed us to immerse ourselves in the charm of 'Old Loreto'. the cobblestone streets and colorful colonial buildings created a picturesque backdrop for our adventures. the craft beer at El Zopilote Brewing Company was exceptional, with each frosted glass inviting us to savor the moment. Exploring the Sierra de la Giganta mountain range was a highlight, offering breathtaking vistas and opportunities to encounter unique flora and fauna. the nearby marine park, Parque Nacional Bahía de Loreto, was a haven for marine life enthusiasts like us. The hotel's private pool area was a perfect oasis to relax under umbrellas or soak up the sun. Overall, Hotel 1697 Loreto provided us with a perfect balance of comfort and authentic experiences, making it a must-visit for travelers seeking a blend of nature, culture, and relaxation.
